FIFA World Cup 2014 Brazil

 

The inspiration for this design comes from the iconic photograph of three victorious hands together raising the world’s most famous trophy. As well as depicting the uplifting humanitarian notion of hands interlinking, the portrayal of the hands is symbolic of the yellow and green hands of Brazil warmly welcoming the world to Brazilian shores.

 

Victory and union are the two key emotive elements which are vividly depicted through the hands featured in the design. Whilst forming a clear link to the colours of the Brazilian national flag, the green and yellow colours also allude to two of the strongest features of life in Brazil – the golden beaches and beautiful sun reflected in the yellow tones, with green representing the strong tropical interior that Brazil is so famous for. The combination of the strong image, the contemporary typography and striking colours are extremely effective in depicting a modern and diverse host nation.

The FIFA Executive Committee has chosen Russia to host the 2018 FIFA World Cup™, while the 2022 FIFA World Cup™ was awarded to Qatar.  Finally FIFA World Cup has landed in New Land for 2018 and 2022.

Motto for FIFA World Cup 2018 in Russia are ” Ready to Inspire” while for FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar are “Expect Amazing”.

FIFA Confederation Cup 2009

The FIFA Confederations Cup is one of the most competitive tournaments among national soccer teams. It features champions of each of the six FIFA confederations – CONCACAF (Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football), UEFA (Union of European Football Associations), CAF (African Football Confederation), CONMEBOL (South American Football Confederation), AFC (Asian Football Confederation) and OFC (Oceania Football Confederation), and both the upcoming host country and past winner of the FIFA World Cup.

Originally organized by and held in Saudi Arabia, and known as the King Fahd Cup, the tournament was founded in 1992. FIFA took control of the event in 1997, renaming it the FIFA Confederations Cup and hosting the tournament every two years. Now contested every four years (since 2005), the Confederations Cup is played one-year prior to the FIFA World Cup.

Hari Rabu (10 Juni 2009) merupakan pertandingan terakhir kompetisi Liga Super Indonesia 2008. Hujan Gol pun tercipta pada laga tersebut, total 43 gol.

Pertandingan bigmatch terjadi di Papua dan Malang.

Di Papua pertandingan bigmatch terjadi antara Persipura vs Sriwijaya FC, dan Persiwa Wamena vs PSMS Medan. Sedangkan di kota Malang bertempat di stadion Gajayana terjadi duel klasik mempertemukan Persija Jakarta vs Persib Bandung. Duel penuh prestise mempertaruhkan gengsi dan juga keinginan untuk mengakhiri kompetisi dengan kemenangan.

Hari ini merupakan laga terakhir bagi Persija Jakarta dan Persib Bandung di kancah kompetisi Indonesian Super League (ISL) , hanya kemenanganlah yang dapat mengamankan posisi persib sebagai runner up ISL 2008 dari kejaran Persiwa Wamena yang hari ini juga akan bertanding melawan PSMS Medan. Persib Bandung unggul selisih gol dan juga menang head to head dengan Persiwa Wamena. Akan tetapi the Jack juga tidak akan tinggal diam, mereka ingin menyelesaikan kompetisi LSI dengan kemenangan dan siap mengalahkan Persib walau minus Greg Nwokolo yang mendapat akumulasi kartu kuning. Sedangkan di kubu Persib, Hariono dan Suwitha Pata tidak dapat tampil dikarenakan akumulasi kartu kuning
